Set up in 2008 Prompt is now one of the most successful Turnaround Companies in the UK.  An experienced CEO of fully listed Plc’s and other private companies David has a proven track record - growing businesses through the implementation of organisation and financial restructuring, combined with sales and marketing strategies. He continues to successfully turnaround struggling companies. Regularly appointed by shareholders and Senior Management (after introduction via Banks and panel accountancy firms) to carry out business turnaround, systems development, acquisitions & mergers and recapitalisation.  Typically heading up turnaround projects of SME’s with turnovers of £5m up to larger £200m+ across a multitude of sectors and countries.

ROBIN STAUNTON

Widely experienced former Corporate lawyer specialising in solvent turnaround and insolvency restructuring, group and inter-company debt reorganisations, carve-outs as well as shareholder and succession issues, investment and sale readiness and succession management.

Non-Executive Chairman and Director.

Lately a Fellow of the Institute for Turnaround and former Regional Chair.

At Prompt, Robin focusses on structural solutions to problems, to enable businesses to deal with

under-performing segments and maximise the opportunities for owners to preserve value and then supports them to drive through plans for a return to growth.

ANTHONY PALMER
Senior Financial Analyst

Anthony started his career in industry working for a small owner managed company. There he implemented new accountancy software which helped support the business to become a prosperous enterprise, one that was bought by a multi-national company.

In 2001 Anthony moved into Practice, where he focused on the provision of services ranging from management accounts and systems installations to statutory accounts, tax and auditing.

Anthony brought all this experience to Prompt Interim where he now holds the position of Senior Financial Analyst. He has worked closely to, and has a good knowledge of a wide variety of market sectors.

Anthony is both AAT and ACCA qualified.

KAREN FREEMAN

Starting at KPMG managing audit clients from the service industry to large manufacturing clients Karen 

also became a technical expert in Office Pensions.  Responsible for implementing their new audit approach focussing on gaining a deep understanding strategically of  client’s business and operations.  

In 2000, Karen moved to Rothschild’s Guernsey managing a large team of accountants producing Financial Statements, Fund Valuations and Bespoke Performance Reports and was part of the management project team that implemented the new Integrated software system. Since then as a consultant her projects have included bringing financial reporting systems in-house and developing Management Information Systems focused on cashflow and working capital management, along with performance analysis and preparing financial information memorandum for Company sale.

Karen is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

IAN SANDERS

Ian has a wide range of experience in Corporate Finance, where he worked for a top 10 firm of accountants for over 10 years.  He worked across a range of sectors, delivering both transaction support and M&A assignments for corporates, private equity houses and banks.  Prior to this, Ian worked in audit for clients that ranged from privately owned companies through to fully listed plc’s.

 

Ian joined a private equity backed group of children’s nurseries as Finance Director.  He was a full member of the Group’s Board and Executive Committee and was actively involved in both developing and implementing strategy.  An MBO was completed in 2012 and a number of equity and debt fund raisings were completed to support the growth of the business over the following decade.

 

At Prompt, Ian applies his experience advising clients in both turnaround and growth scenarios.

 

Ian is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds the ICAEW’s Corporate Finance qualification.

MARK BAYLEY

Mark has over 20 years experience in the commercial Real Estate sector. He started his career at DTZ where he graduated and became qualified. Mark then joined KPMG LLP,  created and became Head of the UK Real Estate Advisory Services team which he led for 15 years. Working with a wide range of clients across a broad range of sectors from mergers and acquisitions to company restructuring. Working with Corporates to reduce costs, enhance value and optimise real estate portfolios. Mark  advises clients across a range of commercial sectors, helping them to develop and implement flexible strategies to respond to their changing needs and the challenges of the market place. He advises on Real Estate matters throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

 

Mark is also a member of the Institute for Turnaround.

TATIANA POSTOVAN
Financial Controller

Tatiana is an experienced Financial Controller, her experience includes the hospitality sector most recently overseeing operations for four leading hotels situated in central London. Her experience lies with P&L analysis and implementing cost control measures. On behalf of Prompt Tatiana works closely with businesses needing strong cash management, creditor profiling and forward scheduling of payments against the operational turnaround plan. Her expertise encompasses the management of complex cashflow dynamics.
